Thanks for downloading my freebie! I hope you all can put this to great use in your classroom!
If you're like me, I like things to run very smoothly with little to no interruptions in my classroom as possible. I've created this file to help with my math centers so that students know EXACTLY where they are to go and what activities they have to choose from! I also created it to help keep students from always choosing the "fun games" that don't necessarily reinforce what we are working on at the moment. It gets them doing something different every day!
Here is a description of what each page consists of and exactly how I plan to use it in my room!
Pages 3-5 with the colored center labels: These are what I plan to put on my board. Print, laminate and hot glue a magnet to the back of each one.
Pages 3-7 with the blank “Students” labels: Print, laminate and hot glue a magnet to the back of each one so you can easily move them each day! This is where I will write the names of about 4-5 students that I know will work well together. **Laminate first and then write the names of students on it with permanent marker. Use an EXPO marker to "erase" the permanent marker if you want to switch up student groups!**
Pages 8-9 with the colored blank labels: These are the labels I am putting on the drawers (with velcro so they can come off easy!). I will write the names of the activities in the drawer so students know what they can choose from. (I didn’t make a blue one because that is the computer station!)
