Flashcards - practice addition and subtraction facts within 10 using flashcards. 2.OA.2
Take Away - practice subtracting within 10 using different objects. 2.OA.2
Rectangular Arrays - draw and partition a rectangle into set number of rows and columns. Then write a number sentence to show the number of equal sized squares created. 2.OA.4 and 2.G.2
Object Arrays - arrange small objects in an array according to the number of rows and columns determined by rolling a die. 2.OA.4
Skip Counting - use a die to create a three digit number, then use the rolled number to skip count by 10s and 100s. 2.NBT.2 and 2.NBT.8
Creating a Problem - use a spinner to create a two-digit addition or subtraction problem. Then solve the problem and writing a word problem that matches the equation. 2.NBT.5 and 2.OA.1
Adding Lots of Numbers - use a spinner to create an addition sentence with four two-digit addends. 2.NBT.5 and 2.NBT.6
What Time is It? - draw the face of a clock with hands to show a time to the hour, half-hour, or quarter-hour. Then have a partner read the clock and write the time. 2.MD.7
Money! - add multiple coins to practice using the cent and dollar signs. 2.MD.8
Drawing Shapes - roll a die and draw the shape with the same number of sides and corners. Then label each shape drawn. 2.G.1
Partitioning Shapes - use a spinner to draw a circle or rectangle, then partition it according to the number of equal shares spun.2.G.3
Creating Fractions - create and cut out circles and rectangles into halves, thirds or fourths; then write the corresponding fraction next to each equal share. 2.G.3
