I use this "cheat sheet' with my 5th graders in math. We spend several weeks working on this after all objectives (TEKS) have been taught/mastered and prior to our state assessment. We work together to memorize one line at a time until the entire sheet can be drawn out by my students from memory.
On STAAR test day, they are well prepared and know that as soon as the tests are handed out and it is time to begin, the first thing they do is write down their "cheat sheet" in the front inside cover of their test booklets. This ensures that their brains are fired up and that they feel confident and prepared to ace that test.
I love this because it is such a confidence booster on testing days!
