This is a planning template to help teachers strategize around who is playing what role within a given lesson. The lesson outline is modelled on the gradual release concept with a do now, direct instruction, guided practice, a check for understanding, independent practice, and an assessment. Plans are outlined for the content teacher, special education teacher, and students. See the "do now" for example planning for the template.
On the right side of the template are spaces to note the standards, IEP goals, transition connections (college-career readiness), instructional strategies, and materials.
