Your students will solve the Math problems, color, cut out and decorate your class at the same time as they celebrate:
- Back to School.
- Halloween.
- Christmas.
- Martin Luther King.
- Valentine´s Day.
- End of Year.

The pennants can be done as a collaborative activity or individually!

This is a growing bundle. When I make new sets I will include them in this bundle and you will be able to download them for free! Right now I include 60 pennants in black and white. I also include a full color version of each pennant which you can use as the answer key. That makes a total of 120 pages!

The Common Core Standards covered in this collection are:
3.NBT.1: Use place value understanding to round whole numbers to the nearest 10 or 100.
3.NBT.2: Fluently add and subtract within 1000 using strategies and algorithms based on place value, properties of operations, and/or the relationship between addition and subtraction.
3.NBT.3:Multiply one-digit whole numbers by multiples of 10 in the range 10-90 (e.g., 9 × 80, 5 × 60) using strategies based on place value and properties of operations.
3.OA.4: Determine the unknown whole number in a multiplication or division equation relating three whole numbers.
3.OA.7: Fluently multiply and divide within 100, using strategies such as the relationship between multiplication and division (e.g., knowing that 8 × 5 = 40, one knows 40 ÷ 5 = 8) or properties of operations. By the end of Grade 3, know from memory all products of two one-digit numbers.
3.GA.2: Partition shapes into parts with equal areas. Express the area of each part as a unit fraction of the whole.
3.NF.3: Explain equivalence of fractions in special cases, and compare fractions by reasoning about their size.
1.OA.6: Add and subtract within 20, demonstrating fluency for addition and subtraction within 10.
2.OA.2: Fluently add and subtract within 20 using mental strategies.
2.GA.3: Color by looking at the shapes and using the words: one quarter, three quarters, four fourths, one third, two thirds, three thirds, one half, two halves.
2.NBT.5: Fluently add and subtract within 100 using strategies based on place value, properties of operations, and/or the relationship between addition and subtraction.
2.NBT.7: Add and subtract within 1000, using concrete models or drawings and strategies based on place value, properties of operations, and/or the relationship between addition and subtraction

Partition shapes into parts with equal areas. Express the area of each part as a unit fraction of the whole. For example, partition a shape into 4 parts with equal area, and describe the area of each part as 1/4 of the area of the shape.
Partition circles and rectangles into two, three, or four equal shares, describe the shares using the words halves, thirds, half of, a third of, etc., and describe the whole as two halves, three thirds, four fourths. Recognize that equal shares of identical wholes need not have the same shape.
Explain equivalence of fractions in special cases, and compare fractions by reasoning about their size.
