This activity involves figuring out different combinations in math. Students can work together to see how combinations are found in the real world. The following activities are involved:
*Teacher Cafe--Students look at a "menu" and decide the possible combinations for dinner.
*Teacher's Closet--Students look at items of clothing, brought in by the teacher, to help their teacher get ready for work.
*Dinner time--Students look at differnt food choices to select from for dinner with their family. You can provide them with pictures of the food, or actual food products (canned foods, chips, pastas, etc.).
This activity can be completed in 3 days, or can be done in a center rotation in 1 day.
