Review important math vocabulary by identifying similarities and differences using these 56 mini-task cards. You can pick-and-choose the most relevant words for your grade level/current objectives/activity and number the cards yourself using a non-permanent marker. There are enough cards for several games. Two Tic Tac Roll dice games for comparing and contrasting are also included. The games can be played by partners or in small groups. Perfect before state testing or for an EOY review!
Here is what you get when you buy this resource:

Math Words and Phrases:
acute angle, addend, addition, angle, area, bar graph, Celsius, centimeter, certain, circle, compatible numbers, composite number, cone, congruent, cubic units, customary units, cylinder, denominator, difference, dividend, division, divisor, edge, equal, equilateral triangle, equivalent fraction, even, face, factor, Fahrenheit, gallon, horizontal, hour, hundredths, impossible, improper fraction, inch, intersecting lines, isosceles triangle, kilogram, kilometer, length, line, line segment, liter, mean, median, meter, metric units, mile, minute, mixed number, mode, multiple, multiplication, numerator, obtuse angle, octagon, odd, outcome, parallel lines, parallelogram, pentagon, perimeter, perpendicular lines, pictograph, polygon, pound, prime number, probability, product, proper fraction, pyramid, quadrilateral, quotient, rectangle, reflection, right angle, rotation, rounded numbers, sphere, square, square pyramid, square units, subtraction, sum, temperature, tenths, thermometer, three-dimensional, translation, trapezoid, triangle, triangular pyramid, two-dimensional, vertex, vertical, width, yard
I deliberately left numbers off the task cards so that you could pick and choose which cards were needed or wanted and then number them yourself. The answer key with suggested answers is arranged in alphabetical order by the first word of the task card pair instead of by numbers. There are 3 different recording sheets included to (hopefully) meet all of your needs. Students can also use regular notebook paper if more room for writing answers is necessary.
I’d appreciate your purchase, your rating, and your feedback.
