I use these in my classroom every day at the beginning of math. Students have the first ten minutes of class to complete the jumpstart. When students finish, they raise their hand and get a stamp in the bottom right hand corner of the page. When students in my class have five stamps they get a prize. Because I print these out and put them in their jumpstart folders weekly, I include day of the week on top so they do not work ahead or work on the wrong page. The first two to three weeks my class typically needs a lot more assistance since so many skills are covered. These have proven to be a great resource in my classroom (and other teachers in my school's classrooms!) because they cover such a wide variety of skills. I am offering this first one for FREE because it models the similar format and skills that the rest of them will follow.
I am currently moving all of these jumpstarts from hand written (yikes!) to computer files so I can upload a few each week, I'm working to get them all up and running soon for the entire year!
