This dragon-themed product relates to tens and ones.
If you are looking for place value activities to consolidate students learning of tens and ones, then these resources are ideal.
There are 4 sets of activities for the students to do:-
2 cut/paste activities; and
2 worksheet based activities.
The activities range from easy to challenging.
1. Worksheet 1 (11 to 20) - students circle a group of ten dragons and count the ones and write the two digit number in the blank box.
2. Cut and paste activity - students read the number above the tens/ones circle and then cut out the dragons to partition correctly into the tens and ones circles.
3. Cut and paste activity and tens and ones grid - students read the number above the tens/ones circle and then cut out the dragons to partition correctly into the tens and ones circles. In addition, students complete the tens/ones grid.
4. Worksheet based (20-99) - Students partition the two-digit numbers and write each number in the grid.
Please see preview pane.
I hope you find these resources beneficial. My students enjoyed cutting out the dragons and then separating them into groups of tens and counting the leftover ones.
