How can I use this product?
This set includes four questions for every math 5th grade common core standard: approaching, two meeting, and exceeding. You can quickly gauge your learners progress, before, during, or after completing your lesson.
What is included?
• one pdf file (two tests on a page) for each standard, so it's easily to print the one you need
• answer key file
• tracking sheet so you can see how your class is doing
How is this different from other similar TPT products?
This set provides three levels of questions so you can use them before, during, and after. They seem to be more rigorous than most others.
Sample questions for 5.OA.2:
1. Alex and Fabian both collect cards. Write an algebraic equation to show that Alex has twice as many cards as Fabian. F = Fabian’s cards
Robin can bike 4 miles in one hour. Write an algebraic
expression to show how many miles she can bike in h
Write expressions that match the phrases.
Leo is six years younger than Alex. Let A represent Alex’s age. How old is Leo?
Each table holds the same amount of students. There are 24 students at t tables. How many students are at each table?
3. Write expressions that match the phrases:

4. Write an expression that when solved is your age.
