We all know how critical math facts are, yet we often struggle with a good system. This system is designed to be used as a self-paced intervention to allow students to learn smaller chunks of addition facts at a time. Typically, we teach have students master all of their 1s, followed by their 2s, and so on. However, this approach allows students to learn HALF of their math facts using the commutative property of addition.
