Printable 0-10 Addition and Subtraction Flashcards and Worksheets:
I use these flashcards for math centers and for a quick math practice exercise.
Copy flashcards on cardstock. Copy the number sentences on one side and the corresponding answers on the other side. I make a set for each student and keep them in a tub for quick and easy use. I also make the 0-5 addition set in one color and the 0-5 subtraction in a different color, likewise for the 0-10 flashcards. It makes it easier for the kids to know which one to grab.
Cut out each set, I put my sets on those little metal rings so students can easily flip them and they stay together, but you can certainly put each set in baggies or with other fasteners. This is great activity for those parent volunteers to do in class or at home.
During centers I have students practice their math facts and may have them fill out one of the worksheets I have provided in this resource. With the number sentence strips at the end of this resource, I cut the page into strips so students only get one strip to find the number sentences for. They have to go through their math fact cards and find the number sentences that corresponds with their strip.
For our math fact exercise, I have students grab either an addition or subtraction ring and I set the timer for 2 minutes. They are to practice their facts the whole time. With the answers on the back it gives the students an easy check to see if they are correct. After the 2 minutes the students have to switch to the other operation they did not do. They again grab a ring of flashcards and I set the time for 2 minutes. They practice the other operation for the full 2 minutes, again checking their answers for accuracy. This is a quick 5 minute practice for students and gets their brains charged.
I am sure you are able to think of some other ways to use this resource. I hope you enjoy them and that they are helpful to you and your students.
