Product Description
Math facts made fun! Motivate your students to learn their math facts with Tournament of Math Facts – A basketball themed program for increasing math facts fluency.

Want to get your students excited about learning their multiplication facts? Try this fun basketball themed incentive program with your class! I’ve been using this program with my students and have found it to be a very successful and motivating way for my students to learn/memorize their multiplication facts. It only takes about 5-10 minutes a day to incorporate in your math block and your students will be begging to take timed tests each day to pass to the next level and become All Stars in multiplication!

The program works with brain research and introduces only a few new facts each day. It engages both written and oral practice at school and at home. As students pass levels, they earn new brag tags on their way towards earning an All Star brag tag.

This program is identical to my Kicking It Math Fact program, but was adjusted to have a basketball theme per a customer request. I loved it so much I decided to share it on TpT as well!

*Directions/Tips for each page

3.OA.A.1 Interpret products of whole numbers, e.g., interpret 5 × 7 as the total number of objects in 5 groups of 7 objects each. For example, describe a context in which a total number of objects can be expressed as 5 × 7.

3.OA.C.7 Fluently multiply and divide within 100, using strategies such as the relationship between multiplication and division (e.g., knowing that 8 × 5 = 40, one knows 40 ÷ 5 = 8) or properties of operations. By the end of Grade 3, know from memory all products of two one-digit numbers.
