Basic Fact Timed Tests covering facts from 0-20 to meet the TEK 2.4A. What is different about these tests? They are designed to build number sense in students!
The order of these facts is solely based on the strategies used to learn facts (doubles, near doubles, make a ten, & so on). Also, addition & subtraction facts are combined to help children recognize number bonds and learn facts more quickly. (Intended more for high first or 2nd-3rd grade.)
The strategies then utilized to help kids learn the facts 11-20. Between each level, there is a cumulative test student must pass. So after passing doubles, kids move onto Near Doubles. However, before going onto the next level kids must pass a level of Doubles and Near Doubles mixed. So after each individual level, there is then a test that mixes all the previously passed levels so kids are continually practicing what they have learned in a mixed review.
You get a total of 21 levels & 3 different versions of tests for each level. Pages are made to be cut, each page gives you 3 tests. You have a Test A, Test B, and Test C for each level.
As a math specialist I can guarantee that once children have passed all levels they will have mastered TEK 2.4A & they will have built a stronger number sense!
