Math Facts with Answers is a great way for students to complete math fact practice with very little to no writing. Students who struggle with fine motor or who are just reluctant to write, will fly through practicing hundreds of facts in minutes. All they do is read the facts on the page and highlight the facts that are incorrect. As a teacher, your job is easy to see if they found all the errors, if there were any. There is a secret code that lets you know if they found them all or too many. Look at the first equation in a column. The smallest digit in that equation lets you know how many facts are incorrect in the entire column. For example: if the equation at the top of the column is 14 – 5 = 9, the smallest digit in that equation is 1, so there is one equation that is incorrect. If the equation at the top of the column is 5 x 2 + 10, there would be no equations incorrect in that column. The student need to highlight the incorrect answer. I have used these different ways. I have cut them into strips and handed out a column at a time. I have put them in sheet protectors and had students write corrected answers after circling the wrong equations.
