Use the facts oral testing sheets to administer an oral math fact fluency test. Students use a copy of the facts sheet and say the equation as well as the answer. Teachers make notes on your copy of the recording sheet (highlighting facts that students are unable to say in a 3 second window fluently).
Students can then practice their facts using the fact builder game sheet…
Put number 10 at top of paper. Print off 2 sets of the number cards (or create your own using index cards and a marker). Students flip a card and then fill in the fact builder sheet starting on the addition side first.
Starting with the number 10 at the top of the paper…If the student flips a card with the number three, then they begin to build the facts…
3 + ? = 10 10 – 3 = ? *
*Instead of the question marks, students write the number that fits the equation.
