Fraction Models. Students need to know how fractions, and problems involving fractions, need to be represented using models while practicing this skill often. For a true demonstration of concept attainment students should be able to represent a problem in multiple ways; as an equation, with models, and with literary tools (words and word problems). This poster provides examples using models.
