Looking for a math center activity? Want a fun way to teach important math facts to your students? This game can help. It is designed to help students make connections with fractions and decimals, place value, and operations.
This memory game takes simple, yet important, math properties and turns them into a fun game! Students place all the cards facedown into rows and columns. Player 1 picks two cards and checks to see if they are a match. If player 1 has a match, they keep those cards and pick two more cards. If not, it is the next players turn. This process repeats until all cards are gone. The player with the most cards, wins! Comes with a "Quick Glance" cheat sheet for your convenience.
For a longer game, and one that is focused more heavily on specific topics, students can build their own game. This comes with a blank template, so your students can create their own game as they learn in your class. Making a game provides more opportunity for students to have practice with definitions, symbols or whatever it is you want them to really take in.
Comes in color and black & white.
