Get your students manipulating numbers on their desk or at a table in a variety of ways with this card set. Create a set for each student for individual, whole class or partner activities or print just a few to use at a center or with an intervention group. This set may be used to supplement math lessons, during number talks, to reinforce new learning, for rich tasks or to review concepts in a hands-on way. The use of cards such as these can also encourage great conversations about numbers and help students to show what they know!
Suggestions for various games and math activities are included. Assign a task or give directions for a sort. Consider having students record answers in a notebook or on a whiteboard when appropriate.
The cards are created in black and white to save on ink. They look great printed on brightly colored paper or cardstock!
