Looking for an easy-prep Math Station choice?
I have compiled directions for 16 math games that can be played using ordinary playing cards. Many of these games can be readily found on the internet, but here they are all together for your classroom use. The work has been done for you!
Direction sheets can be printed individually for students to practice math skills using a specific game, or stapled into a booklet to allow student choice.
The games included cover a variety of skills, and include tips for increasing, or decreasing, the difficulty to easily differentiate for all student skill levels.
Once students have learned the rules and procedures for the games, they can play cooperatively without teacher direction.
Place these direction sheets, along with playing cards, in a Math Station rotation for a quick, fun activity that can be used all year.
