Product Description
This is a packet of 9 math worksheets that cover addition, subtraction, fact families, number stories, and extended facts. It aligns with the Everyday Math curriculum, but could be used with any math program as extra practice for any third or fourth grade students. These were designed to be challenge and advanced homework to supplement the third grade Everyday Math program, but they would be great for grade level or struggling fourth graders or advanced second graders too. They are in a Word document format so you are able to edit or change as you would like.

The worksheets cover the following topics:
2.1 - Fact Families
2.2 - Extended Facts
2.3 - Patterns/Algebra with addition and subtraction
2.4 - Number Story
2.5 - Number Story
2.6 - Comparison Number Story
2.7 - Multidigit Addition
2.8 - Multidigit Subtraction
2.9 - Addition with Three Addends

Meets Common Core standards:
CCSS.Math.Content.3.NBT.A.2 Fluently add and subtract within 1000 using strategies and algorithms based on place value, properties of operations, and/or the relationship between addition and subtraction.

CCSS.Math.Content.3.OA.D.8 Solve two-step word problems using the four operations. Represent these problems using equations with a letter standing for the unknown quantity. Assess the reasonableness of answers using mental computation and estimation strategies including rounding.

CCSS.Math.Content.3.OA.D.9 Identify arithmetic patterns (including patterns in the addition table or multiplication table), and explain them using properties of operations.
