Math "I Can" Statements for Common Core Essential Elements (First Grade)

Display kid friendly "I Can" posters for each of the Essential Elements math standards as well as checklists for each of the four levels of performance! These are aligned with the Dynamic Learning Map Assessment and the are the alternative standards to the Common Core State Standards called Common Core Essential Elements (alternative standards for students with special needs/intellectual disabilities) for students with disabilities.

This product includes each math strand for First Grade:

Operations and Algebraic Thinking
Measurement and Data
Geometry
Number and Operations in Base Ten

Also included in this product is a standards checklist for you, as the teacher, to keep track of teaching the standards. This is also great for IEP goals and data tracking! Each standard is divided into 4 levels of performance (IV, III, II, and I) with examples of what that looks like at that level (just ideas, not a comprehensive list).

Along with the "I can" Posters there is an "I can" pennant to hang up on the wall along with the statement posters. These are great for students to know what they are working on. I have also included the Header Poster for each of the math strands to give you different options to display your posters.
