Students roll dice and try to meet the objective for each minigolf hole. They count the number of rolls it takes to meet the objective, and that number is their score for the hole.
There are two versions of the game included:
- integer minigolf uses positive and negative integers in the calculations
- operations minigolf uses only positive integers in the calculations
The par for each hole really is the approximate number of times it would take students, on average, to meet the objective.
This game is a fun way for students (in pairs or small groups... maybe in foursomes ;) to review simple operations and work with integers.
