This binder was designed to help your Kindergarten and First Grade students with difficult math concepts. I created this for use in small group or one on one instruction. I will be adding to this binder throughout this year as it is a growing bundle. The binder is stacked with pages for differentiation to meet the needs of your students. You can use all of the pages or pick the ones that you need. The binder also includes directions for a volunteer or non teacher to help in how to use this resource.
The binder is divided up into 8 sections:
*Number sense- breaking down numbers and understanding what numbers mean, counting, recognizing and identifying numbers, writing numerals to 10, writing numbers to 20, 30, 50, and 100, describing numbers, skip counting by 2's, 5's, 10's, Count It Out,Count It Up Stretch It Out, One More, One Less, Ten More/Ten Less, Count & Color, Number Words (70 pages)
*Shapes~Students will work on identifying 2d shapes. Shapes included: circle, square, triangle, rectangle, hexagon, octagon, pentagon, heptagon, star, heart, diamond, oval. (10 Pages)
*Patterns~Pattern Anchor Charts, Create a Pattern, Pattern For Square (10 Pages)
*Place Value- Hundreds, Tens and Ones number practice, Expanded Form Practice & Chart (16 pages)
*Addition and Subtraction Assessments (9 Pages)
*Addition Strategies~ Zero's the name, Addition Allie, Draw it!, Doubles, Doubles plus one, Adding Ten, Making Ten, Using Ten Frames , Addition Practice Pages(49 pages)
*Subtraction Strategies~ Subtraction Sam, Number Line is All Mine, Zero's the Name , Subtracting Ten and Draw it (23 pages)
*Counting Coins~ Coin posters, coin match ups, individual counting mats, individual coin counting, combination coin counting, Roll and Count and more! (30 pages)
*Greater Than/Less Than- (4 pages)
*Telling Time~ Students have a variety of ways to practice telling time and a fun little story to go along with your intervention groups!
