When students are stuck on their times tables mastery, everything in math is more difficult. Their attitudes about their math abilities paired with a lack of number sense has students left feeling insecure and not wanting to take math risks. This set is to help enable, inspire and give those struggling students a chance to succeed.
Included in this set:
-Slides3&4 should be printed back to back with slide 5- This is a desk reminder or a homework helper. It provides a 12x12 multiplication chart along with some definitions and tip.
-Slides 6-12 are mini anchor charts that the students can staple together to make a math reference book- it can be glued in their INB or pasted inside a target dollar spot book to help them while they work through these tricky standards.
-Slides12-16 give the students a chance to create their own anchor chart and define Prime-Composite-Factors and Multiples
-Slide 17 is a mini poster set that are great desk top reminders for the students- especially if you have a Target Dollar Spot adhesive square
-Slides 18-21 are 2practice pages for prime and composite, with a key
-Slides 22-27 are little performance tasks for the students to critically think through questions in groups, partners or on their own
-Slides 28-38 are multiples practice for students who have yet to master their times tables. This is meant to be a strategic intervention.
