Do you Jenga in your classroom? Math Jenga is a great way to engage ALL learners during a center, early finisher, or review activity.
I have created two different versions, each with three differentiated levels. In creating my Jenga game, I bought a regular set and painted the ends of the blocks in four different colors. I included editable game boards so you could type in the colors of the blocks you have. You can also buy colored Jenga on Amazon, and that comes with 6 different colored blocks, and that version of the game is included in this pack as well.
All levels include the following skills: place value, expanded form, standard form, word form, base 10 blocks, skip counting, and adding and subtracting 10, 100, or 1,000 depending on the level.
Set 1: students play with numbers in the tens and hundreds
Set 2: students play with numbers in the hundreds and thousands
Set 3: students play with numbers in the thousands and ten thousands
An accountable math talk page is also included to help guide students' conversations while playing! I printed mine on the back of the Jenga boards for easy and quick reference. Directions are also included on how to play!
