Fun way to review and assess several mathematics concepts and knowledge.
This is a Jeopardy game. The main board has the following five categories, each with five questions:
1. Polygons and Diagonals
Example: What do you call a polygon with two pairs of parallel sides?
2. Measuring Inches, Feet, and Yards
Example: A table’s width is 6 feet and a chair’s width is 18 inches. How much longer is the table?
4.5 feet (54 inches)
3. Circumference and Perimeter
Example: What is the perimeter of a regular pentagon that is 5 centimeters on each side?
4. Time and Temperature
John went to his grandmother’s house. The trip took 4 hours and 5 minutes. He rode the bus for 3 hours and 30 minutes. If he walked the rest of the way, how long did he walk?
There is a square shaped piece of land that is 12 meters on each side. If you are planning to plant trees every 3 meters, how many trees will you plant? (You must plant a tree on the vertices of the square.)
