Subtraction Word Problem that will allow your children to explore the concept of subtraction. Students can work on the problem alone or in pairs. Use this problem to launch a rich discussion of the concept.
★ INDEPENDENT WORK ACTIVITY
Students will have number cards to use to create and solve subtraction sentences. This will require students to fully grasp the idea that subtraction problems begin with the larger number. You have the option to laminate this activity and use it as a center after the lesson.
