I am a bit addicted to having these Math Lesson Pacing PowerPoint Presentations guide my instruction! I created them to ensure that I hit each component of a lesson throughout the week and to keep me on track. In my state, we have unannounced observations. I know that with these lessons, I am prepared for an observation at any time! This presentation is EDITABLE. You can move slides around to fit your instructional needs using the drag and drop method. There is also a blank slide at the end for you to customize. When I save a unit for the week, I always click Save As to save as its own unit. That way I have it ready to go for next year. Save the original file as your template to work from each week. It does take a little prep each week, but I promise it’s totally worth it!
***This is a TEMPLATE. You will add components based on the standard you are teaching. This is an organizational tool to keep you on task during each lesson.
You will find the following slides in the PowerPoint presentation. I have them ordered by the way I teach during my math block. As I said, you can move them and edit them to fit your own classroom needs.
-Act it Out!
-Unit Title Slide
-I can statement slide for each day
-Song or Video Intro
-Blank slide to customize for your needs
-Instructions on how to edit the presentation.
There are 57 slides included in the order in which I teach a 5-day unit. Please view the preview to get an idea of what each component looks like. Thanks for stopping by my shop!
