These anchor charts in action:
I start off by tracing the main parts of the chart before the lesson, adding the important pieces during the lesson. That way, things stay neat and organized!
Students can follow along with their copy of the anchor chart in their notebooks. They fill in key words and examples as we solve them as a class. T
his has been a great tool for teaching students note taking skills, while still teaching from anchor charts. Students have the charts in their math interactive notebook so they can see them and use them whenever they need.
