These posters will give students ideas on how to actively listen to a presentation in class. Great resource to have as you teach your students to become active listeners and participants in math class.
This set of posters gives students specific things to do when listening to other students presenting to the class. These norms will help students focus on things they can do to be more effective listeners and learners. This is a great resource to have as you teach your students to become active participants in math class.
There are six different posters total. There are five expectations for listening. Each poster shows one of the expectations, and one poster lists them all together. Two copies of each poster are provided—one in color and one in black-and-white. There is also a set of the expectations printed four to a page. These would be ideal for each student to receive a copy and place somewhere in a math notebook.
Finally, there is a Listening Reflection page. This allows students a place to jot down important ideas they learned from a presentation, and then reflect on how they did with each of the listening expectations. Finally, students reflect on ways to improve.
