### Description

This Grade 2 Math & Literacy Bundle can make your planning easier! It contains activities, worksheets and centers that can be used with your 2nd grade students throughout the year.

Each resource is available to buy individually or you can save money by purchasing this big bundle!

What You Get

MATH

Counting on Number Line Center (Includes a Digital Version)

If you teach skip counting at the beginning of the year, these will come in handy. Students fill in the missing numbers on these 60 number line strips that deal with counting forwards and backwards by 1's, 2's, 5's, and 10's.

Place Value Games

This pack has an "I Have, Who Has" Game (for numbers under 100) and a Matching Game to help reinforce place value concepts. There are also a few student worksheets and Tens & Ones Sorting Mats (for teachers to laminate a class set and use with base ten blocks). These games make a great hands-on addition to any Place Value unit.

These 100 task cards are great to have on hand for teaching each math unit! Use them for centers or stations, as early finisher activities, or for fun reviews at the end of each unit! They cover Graphing, Double Digit Addition & Subtraction, Telling Time, Probability, Fractions, 3D Shapes, Equal Expressions, Patterning, and Money Word Problems.

These graphing activities can help you teach data management skills at the beginning of the school year. Students will read bar graphs and pictographs, make observations about them, create their own graphs, and count, tally, and graph objects. These activities can also serve as a "get to know you" lesson as students are required to graph their favorite summer activities, colors, hobbies and pets!

These 24 Fact Families Strips can help your students develop addition and subtraction skills. These strips can be laminated and put at an activity center with dry erase markers. Students write 2 addition sentences and 2 subtraction sentences that are part of each "fact family". There are also 2 worksheets included.

Students fill in the missing numbers in the equations by making both sides equal. This math center comes with 28 task cards, instructions, and a student recording sheet.

LANGUAGE

Reading Comprehension Passages & Questions (Includes a Digital Version)

This is my best selling resource and is great to have on hand if you are teaching second grade. These 45 reading comprehension passages come with 4 questions each. Students answer the questions using reading strategies like making inferences and making connections. There are also 2 direct answer questions for each passage.

Sentence Editing (Includes a Digital Version)

In Grade 2 students will need to know how to write complete sentences and paragraphs using proper capitalization and punctuation. This resource includes editing worksheets, task cards, posters, strips, and short paragraph editing activities. You can use the activities at a literacy center, for whole class lessons, or for daily independent practice.

Parts of Speech Worksheet Bundle (Includes a Digital Version)

This grammar resource for second grade covers identifying and using the following 5 parts of speech: Nouns, Verbs, Adjectives, Pronouns, and Adverbs. Each unit comes in a separate file and includes a poster and worksheets.

Non-Fiction Text Features Cut & Paste

Help your students learn non-fiction text features with this fun, hands-on activity! Students cut out labels of text features and paste them in the boxes on the articles.

Students try to guess the "mystery word" on the card. One player reads the clues (whether the word is a noun, an adjective or a verb, how many letters it has, etc.) while the other players try to guess the word. Students play in groups of three.

Math & Literacy Combined

This printable booklet contains 16 weeks worth of short daily activities (one math and one language per day) that students can work on while waiting for the morning bell or announcements. Some of the topics include: nouns, adjectives, verbs, synonyms, antonyms, alphabetical order, time, patterns, addition, subtraction, fractions, shapes, and probability.
