PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

This task incorporates logic and problem solving with place value. This is a mathematical task that aligns with Common Core Standards. It was designed for students in second grade but has been used with students in 2nd, 3rd, and 4th grade. A great extension is to have students create their own set of clues for a number to 1,000 and share with one another.

The introduction to the task follows: The clues below can be used to determine three different numbers, each with three digits. The numbers are >100 and <1,000. After you have used the clues to determine the numbers, plot them on the number line!
