This resource is designed specifically for preparing students for MAP testing, however it could be applied to other state tests. I recommend using this in the weeks leading up to your state testing to review math skills taught throughout the year.
The lessons included in this bundle will teach students all the major concepts covered in fourth grade including place value, the four operations, fractions, geometry, measurement, data and more. A pacing guide with the order of the lessons can be found on the next slide.
Each lesson contains slides for teaching from and slides for seat work. The seat work includes the skills from the lesson as well as a spiral of the skills previously taught to give them more practice and ensure they are retaining the skills. Depending on where your students are at, this could be completed independently, in small group, or whole group.
Some of the practice questions included in this resource come from the MAP practice assessments, while others I created using the MAP testing sentence stems from the DESE website. All questions are designed to expose students to the language used on state tests.
