This is a review game intended to help reinforce simple division facts through the use of mental math. It is very easy and can be used as a time filler at the beginning or end of your math lesson!
Cut out and laminate each card; this way you can reuse them multiple times for years to come! Mix up the cards and give one to each student. ALL 28 CARDS MUST BE USED! To do this, some students may have to have two cards. Most of the time I give my best math students two cards because I know they will not be overwhelmed!
Side note: I made 28 cards because class sizes are getting larger every year, and this year I have 27 students! It is always better to have more than less!
The student who has the card that says “I have the first Math Mania Card” will begin the game. That student has a division problem on their card. The student will simply read their card out loud and the student with the answer will respond. This will continue until the last card is read, which says “I have the last Math Mania Card!”. Each student should be listening to every card, thinking of the answer in their heads. By the time the game is over students will have reviewed 27 math facts!
