PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Welcome to March Madness math! This will give the students a fun way to practice Mean, Median, Mode and Range. They will need to be introduced and taught these skills prior to this lesson. You will also need to print off a NCAA bracket for each team. This project will start once the Elite 8 is established. The students will pick the teams that will make it to the final four based on stats that the students have figured. They will then choose one winner of the tournament based on all of the data they have gathered. There are step by step instructions for the students along with charts for them to fill in their data. There is a rubric to grade the project when it is complete. This is generic enough to use year after year! Enjoy!
