Need some extra practice for skills your students are required to learn, but those pesky "programs" lack to give addition help to? Look no further! I've created various fun activities to get kids thinking, learning and practicing those skills that are necessary for success in math!
This pack is all related to Addition Properties: Counting on to add! I have multiple ways for students to practice, as well as multiple worksheet practice for each!
*Using a spinner to create the an addition fact to count on to add; some require kids to write their thinking (numbers they say as they count up) or use a Tens Frame to add dots to count on.
*Using dice to roll to create an addition fact to count on to add with the same system as above-some require students to write their thinking and the other is adding dots to the tens frame
*Counting on Practice page; 2 pages for facts under 10 and 2 pages for facts over 10 (for now) to have students search for the higher number in each number sentence and then count on the other number (1, 2, or 3). No additional writing is required.
*Memory/matching game: recording sheet included
After being exposed many times in multiple ways, your students will become Math Masters!
Make sure to follow me for new packets that are coming soon. I will be creating these for many skills for second grade (though, this will be great in first as well!) These will be review in my classroom when we first get back!
