This is another painfully simple project I threw together in about five minutes. The tool can address a wide variety of skills within a lifeskills/PPCD/pre-k classroom.
Currently, I have each of the dots pieces cut out, laminated, and velcroed onto plastic cups. My students put the matching number of beans in the cups. I will eventually add the numeral next to the dots, and then after some practice with that, remove the dots so only the numeral remains while the students add the beans... then repeat the process with the numeral and the word.
I can also see this as a great matching task, though! Maybe in a file folder game? Or, in a sort (all the ones, all the twos... OR all the dots, numerals, words)!
