Description

This file is a 20 page SMART Board file for math review! I use this as my "math meeting" each day. I begin each afternoon with math meeting and find that it's the perfect way to kick off our math lessons and review content that we've been working on. And, my "math meeting helper" is the classroom job that my kiddos enjoy the very most! This student gets to stand up front and lead the review.

These pages are aligned to CCSS for 1st grade (and fit most specifically with the Saxon Math program), but could definitely be adapted/edited to fit your own needs. **Please note that you must have Notebook software installed to open this file.

The math review includes these pages:
Calendar
Weather/Graph
Days in School/Place Value
120 Chart
Counting by Hundreds
Identifying Left/Right
Word Problems
Doubles Facts
Number Patterns
More Than/Less Than
Equations (true or false)
Ten Frame
Money (penny, nickle, dime, quarter)
Digital and Analog Time
Measurement (inches, centimeters)
Hundred Chart Puzzle (10 more, 10 less, etc)
Fractions
Composite Shape
Fact Family

I use this file throughout the school year, rearranging the pages. Obviously, students will not be ready for all the content at the beginning of the year, so I add and takeaway pages as we go. Also, I have included a few pages that are not necessarily in the CCSS for my grade level, but that I find to be a good review for my kiddos. Of course, you may delete and/or edit any pages that are not useful to you. The final page is a STOP sign. You can place the stop sign on the last page of your current review and keep other pages for later, at the end of the file, without having to delete them.

Most pages are self-explanatory, but there is quite a bit to do with your students, so please don't hesitate to ask me questions at any time if you are unsure of how to use a page! I hope you find this as useful and engaging as I do! :)
