To use this product you will simply make a copy for as many sorts as you want. I make one set for each student in my classroom so I have the option of having each student begin to work on their money sorts at the same time before going on to another activity. You can also make five or six and use this sort as one of your math stations.
Copy your set and laminate for durability. Next cut out all of the pieces and store in a baggie or manila envelope. Students will then sort according to penny, nickel, dime, quarter, half dollar, and dollar. The sorting cards are the largest cards. I have added the front and back view of each coin, the coin value in word form, cents form, and dollar form. There is also the name of each coin. This is a fantastic and useful sort for coin and valuation recognition. You can choose all of the sorts or reduce the number of sorts you use depending on the grade level you teach.
Enjoy this set for your classroom. My kids love it.
