Are you looking for a way to spice up your morning work? Are you looking for an interactive way to engage early finishers? Are you looking for a way to incorporate “game like” play while still reviewing concepts?
Look No Further!
I wanted to do all of the above! I wanted to find a way to engage my early finishers without some of the procedural work of math games. I printed one of these front and back. I put one in a sheet protector for each of my students. They are able to pick a section that will keep them engaged and occupied. They use dice (I prefer double dice) and an expo marker. The sheet protectors act as lamination with the added bonus of being able to be stored in one of their binders in their desk. This has helped some of my students reinforce concepts, while being opened ended enough to challenge my higher learners. I hope it helps your students as well!
I have also included a page that I use during my math meeting (calendar time) at the beginning of math each day. It is an awesome way to spiral concepts. You can omit certain skills depending on the time you have available each day!
