This is a Math Mountain mat where students can pick a card and place it at the top of the math mountain. Then, they can make the different partners of that number they placed at the top.
I included two mats that have the minus and plus signs on the mats too for a better visual.
You can also laminate the mat and students can use dry erase markers. You can have them place a card at the top and they can write in the partners. Or have them place one partner at the bottom and write in the unknown partner.
There are two number pages in case you are doing different partners. For example, if you do the partners of 6, there is only one 3 on the number page, so you would need to print both number pages.
You could also use for teen numbers. Have the students put a 10 and another number on the bottom and they can make the teen number at the top. Or they can pick two random numbers and figure out what the total is.
Make sure you hit "fit" when printing.
This is a good supplement to Math Expressions Grade 1
