A fun station activity to get kids moving and working together as they simplify expressions using the distributive property. Students “solve the crime” by rotating through 8 stations and solving one problem that gives them one piece of information about the theft. Multiple choice answers include common mistakes that students make when using the distributive property. Student recording sheets and answer key included. Aligned to 6.EE.3, but great for 7th grade review, too.
