Are you hosting a math night at your school? Are you looking for some materials to help you with professional development to help staff members develop a deeper understanding of number sense?
The pages included for each topic (poster) will have a definition in parent-friendly language to describe of each of the number sense concepts we teach in kindergarten. As well, there are 1 to 3 pages of visuals with young children explaining how the concept works. Some concepts will include examples of how children might show how they need more practice in a concept to gain a deeper understanding.

Math nights are a perfect way to teach parents about what we learn about in kindergarten! I have posted all of these concepts throughout my classroom on a math night and allowed parents to join in on some math talks to develop a deeper understanding of how we all see numbers differently!
Print pages on 8.5" * 14" paper.
Glue posters in whichever order you want onto poster paper, chart paper or however you wish to display these concepts. How you see the poster displayed in the preview is exactly how we have displayed them for our school math nights.
Laminate for reuse, year after year!
