This game is a great way to get upper elementary students excited about math! In my classroom, we talk about how it can be difficult to solve math problems. In order to solve them, students must be observant and clever...like a ninja! When doing this activity, I highly suggest letting your students become "Ninjas for a day" by wearing a tie around their head or waist, a sweatshirt pulled tight around their eyes, etc. The kids love it!
This 30-card game practices geometry and is very versatile. It can be played as a scoot game, hung around the room for a carousel, modeled in small group, done in partners, or done individually during a math center. It is also a fun way to have students practice place value test prep without boring them to death! A recording sheet and answer key are included.
I hope your students enjoy this activity as much as mine do! Happy ninja-ing!
