This fun dice game allows students to use their critical thinking skills and problem solving skills to the max! Simply copy the 14 sheets on to cardstock as these will be used over and over. Students put all the math sign cards in front of them (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and equal sign). They can use any combination of the signs that they like that will allow them to make a correct number sentence. Then students choose one dice card from each color so they will have 4 dice cards to work with. Last they choose a number card which will be the answer to their problem. Now the fun begins!! Students will need to arrange the numbers and math signs to make a correct math sentence. This set of cards can be used an infinite number of times with a multitude of ways to solve the problem. It would be great to make multiple copies of the game and have competitions in the classroom to encourage critical thinking and problem solving skills. Try putting the students in teams and when the cards are drawn, all teams must use the same numbers. See how many ways a problem can be solved. The ways this game can be used is endless. Colorful graphics makes the game interesting and fun. Created with Microsoft Word. Great for Grades 2-10.
