These 8 colorful activity cards are designed to help your students review mathematical patterns in numbers and shapes, and the academic language associated with the concept. Students are first required to define a pattern, explain what a pattern is, and consider patterns in real life. Students will apply their knowledge by locating and describing patterns in the classroom and school. Finally, students will be asked to make a connection to reading or science by describing a pattern they've noticed or learned about.
