These six ready to print math activities allow children to develop their understanding of place value, including large, negative and decimal numbers.
This is a three session activity pack - each session has two differentiated activities. The worksheets are all different, and are designed to test the skills taught in a variety of interesting ways:
Place Value - Activity 1: Variety of questions testing knowledge of numbers and place value (up to 10 million) Activity 2: Place value puzzle - children need to use place value clues about mystery numbers to calculate them (up to 8 digits).
Place Value and Decimals - Activity 1: Children need to use given values to write the missing forms of decimals in either their fraction, decimal or word form to complete a table. Activity 2: Children need to fill in missing values for decimals and fractions in their partitioned form.
Negative numbers - Activity 1:Code Breaker - Children solve addition and subtraction questions, involving negative numbers to crack a given code. Activity 2: Questions involving larger negative numbers (based on the temperature of planets).
Each session comes with a full, easy to compare answer sheet.
