Description

Included (11 pages):

-4 versions of the math poster (print, add any question, and done)

-2 versions of the rubric (one is includes the option for an oral presentation.)

-1 Response Frames for an oral presentation

-1 Math poster notes and scratch paper page

-Some Examples

-Suggestions for use page full of differentiation options, extensions, and ideas

Adjusted and adapted over 8 years, this math poster is my go-to low-prep math activity page for any math topic I can imagine. It is loved my students, and lets face it, it is easy to implement and can be done multiple times throughout the year.

This can be a group project (2-3 students) but can also be done individually. This can last 30-45 minutes normally, depending on goals. Students just need a pen or pencil and this page. Can be made into an oral presentation-everything you need included!

Students dive deeply into the math question for greater understanding and growth. Ideal for differentiation, practice, review, and SBAC test prep. Just print out some questions (I use a test B, review, quiz, or quick check), cut them out and attach. Any question can also be written in, making this adaptable to fit any need in this independent collaborative activity. When they begin, I walk around and support, help, and pull small groups as needed. Also great as a sub activity once students have done it- so cool.

Thank you for supporting a fellow teacher. Please consider checking out my other items.
