PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

This file contains two worksheets.

The first contains nine questions related to events in the Renaissance. For example, one question involved comparing the birth dates of Leonardo Da Vinci and Michelangelo. Another asks the student to calculate how long Pope Alexander VI was pope for. It is meant to accompany a discussion of the Borgia family as discussed on my website: http://housefulofchaos.com/borgia-family

The second contains seven questions relating to currency during the Renaissance. For example: "Leonardo Da Vinci devised a scheme for diverting a river, the Arno, in order to help Florence capture Pisa. He estimated that it would cost 750 ducats per mile for twenty five miles. How many ducats would that amount to?"
